Question : HP Wirelss Wan

I have a router set up that has been working fine.  

There is a messsage that comes up when I boot up my computer that previously (even with my router installed ) just said "HP wirless wan", now it say HP Wireless Wan "on".  Is that because the router is installed?

"on" states the status of your wireless adapter in your computer
