Question : Email notification on IBM ServerRAID

I have just installed IBM Server Raid 7.10b on my file Server and Domain Controller.  Unfortunately, the email notification is not working.  It comes up with the ff error message "Could not open socket connection to SMTP server". What am I doing wrong?
