Question : Trying to add external domain e-mails to a group on Domino 8
I've created some "People" entries for e-mail addresses of people outside our domain. I've added them as type "other internet mail", and this way our users can see them in the global address book. However, when I create a group for a mailing list (type "Mail Only"), I can add our normal Lotus users to it but not these external people. I click to add and nothing happens. Seems like I should at least get an error message. Is there something I'm doing wrong here?
Answer : Trying to add external domain e-mails to a group on Domino 8
To add other people to the address book, you should use 5 fields: First name, Last name, User name, Mail System, and Forwarding Address. Don't forget User name!
