Question : Laptop cannot browse TCP/IP Network - Can't start Computer Browser service

Hiya all.........

I have a laptop that cannot browse the TCP/IP Network, but can do everything else.

If I try to start the Computer Browser service, I get the Error 1075 : The service or dependency has been marked for deletion...

Not somthing I did !!!

Any ideas ?

Well I am afraid I am to the scratch this machine recommendation, something is a miss and the 'standard' ways of fixing these things isn't working. this registry entry should on any machine force it to hybrid mode, not sure why it is not taking but it is quite un-settling.
