Question : Limited or No Connectivity
Hi,
I am not much of a win32 user, but mom has WinXP SP2 on a laptop for reasons of which are beyond my control. Also, now I have an obligation of fixing an "Limited or No Connectivity" issue which has occuring recently after the cable guy setup the network. This happens while connecting from her laptop using ethernet connection (LAN) with a ADSL modem (BB connection).
However, when I use my system (linux) with the same cable and port, every thing just works fine and I can connect to the net using my linux box with no issues. So I am assuming that there could be some problem with the drivers on the WinXP box?
Here are the details of my WinXP box:
AMD Turion 64 Mobile Technology ML-30
SiS 900-Based PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter
Also tried googling and could not find proper soultions. Though I followed the suggestions from ->
