Question : Help with Exchange

I can access my email from my ISP's mail server using a POP3 account. I gues that when I synchronize my Outlook with the mail server all the emails are download from the mail server onto a pst file on local machine.
My questions are

When using POP3 do the emails remain on the mail server or are moved to my local machine?

If an email is deleted by accident, would it be possible to recover it from the mail server if when are using POP3?

Answer : Help with Exchange

POP3 is a delivery mechanism which will MOVE the mail to your PC when you send/ recieve.  If your ISP has a backup of the mail, they they could recover it for you but this is unlikely.

It also depends on the mail setup you ISP uses, give them a shout but I think you will be out of luck.  Google IMAP, might be something you want to look at.
