Question : DNS Server <> Web/Smtp Server

Hi,

I ordered a domain name to a provider A which sucks, but pretty cheap.
I ordered the webserver to another provider B, better performance.

When I want to send a mail automatically to my members from my web application,
will the performance (delay of mail, etc.) rely on both provider A and B ?

Thank you for any info.

Answer : DNS Server <> Web/Smtp Server

You will want to ask provider A to change the A-record and the MX-record to the servers of provider B.

These records will be adjusted throughout the entire internet after 48 hours (update on the 13 master root DNS server) and so it will only rely on the reliability of provider B
