Question : Dial Up Networking with a Nokia 6130

I have a Nokia 6130 and have been trying to configure it as a modem to dial up from my laptop to my office. The instalation seemed to go without a hitch. When I try to dial, it dials and as soon as the NT server answers the call, the phone cuts off and displays "call ended"!

Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening?

Most likely your service provide doesn't support data calls or you haven't subscribed to this service.

Unlike home telephone line, data calls on mobile phone are different from voice calls, your service providers usually have special subscription plan for data calls.
