Answer : 'Lame' named messages

In named lingo, 'lame' servers are servers which aren't authoritive for a domain requested, but according to other data, they should be.
In your example, according to the zonedata from the zone 'ZIFF.com', 'auth01.ns.uu.net' should be authoritive for 'epub.ziff.com', but isn't. The authoritivness was learned from the nameserver at IP 192.203.230.10.
You could notify the e-mail address in the SOA record of epub.ziff.com of this problem, (this is what this message is for) or ignore it.
