Question : Merging exchange databases
I am running Exchange 2003 with latest Service pack on Windows 2000. We have recently deleted number of huge mail boxes and like to do an offline defrag on Exchange database. During offline defrag on weekend, I like to start a temporary database so we will not lose weekend mail. But once we finish this defrag I like to use exmerg to merge temporary database with original database so users has all their mail on Monday. Is this a right approach for this project? If you think there is a better way to do this then please let me know also. Thanks Iftikhar
