Question : Creating a SSL Certificate for Exchange 2003 on a domainname.local domain?

My domain is named domain.local and I access Exchange 2003 using OWA using mail.domainname.com/exchange.

The Exchange server is a single Exchange 2003 Server in the domain.

When I am entering the information to create an SSL certificate to be processed would the Common Name be servername, or servername.domainname.com, or servername.domainname.local?
