I had to reset the dlink router and now i can't get the computers to read each other. I have some that see each other, others that don't. Appears to be a conflict in dhcp assingnments. Does anyone have a how to sheet on setting up wildblue with a dlink router and 5 computers? I have the Wild blue connected to the wan port ot the dlink and one of the ports of the router connected to a Dell switch. the computers are copnnected to the switch. Network magic says the network is fine but the computers have either limited or no connectivity.

If the computer are using a 169.x.x.x address (look in the NIC status), then they should be able connect to each other ok. A 169.x.x.x is automatically assigned by Windows in the event that there is no DHCP response. Have all the computers got this address?
Another thing that would work in the meantime is to give each computer a static IP address e.g.
Computer1: 192.168.0.2, subnet mask 255.255.255.0 Computer2: 192.168.0.3, subnet 255.255.255.0
No DNS or gateway addresses required, as there isn't either without the router. The networking will need to work using NetBIOS.
It sounds like the D-Link is fried!
