Question : What does "Repair" button under "Support" tab do (Inside network card status dialog box)?
Experts, I would like to know the commands the the "Repair" button do when a user presses the button. This button is under "Support" tab in the dialog box that shows up when you press the double monitor icon in the system tray which represents your network adapter. Please list a complete list of ALL the commands and steps it performs when the button is pressed.
I used to think it only does IPCONFIG /Release and IPCONFIG /Renew but I found out that this is not true when my notebook Internet stopped working and I did the two commands and it didn't fix the problem.
When I went in to Support tab and pressed Repair, the problem was solved and I am interested to know what it does so I can refer to it later for future uses.
