Question : Email problems to hotmail

Hi All

I have a specific customer who has 4 different hotmail accounts.
He is also using another email account from our ISP. Whatever email he sends from his ISP account (webmail only) to any of the 4 hotmail accounts are never being delivered.
There is no undelivarable notification coming on his ISP account nor any emails goes to junk or spam hotmail folders.
I tried to send an email from hotmail to his ISP account and put him also in the safe sender list and he received the email and also replied to hotmail succesfully.
Now he is worrying that any email he sents to hotmail accounts anywhere in the world are not being delivered as he is not receiving any notification and he cannot ask from all his customers to add him to his safe senders contacts.
Can anybody give me a little help with this issue?

Thanks
George

Answer : Email problems to hotmail

When you send the email you can request a delivery trace, and a confirmation of delivery.  This will show where the email gets dropped.

It might be that Hotmail have added the domain he is sending from to there own block list, if so you will need to contact Hotmail and ask for them to allow mail from his account.

You can use the senderID system to help get around this (see http://www.microsoft.com/mscorp/safety/technologies/senderid/default.mspx)
