Question : Sonicwall VPN Client
Hi,
I have this issue with a user not being able to use the sonicwall VPN client.
here's the run down of whats happened:
using vpn 3.1 - on her laptop - connects fine (through same router)
using 3.1 on her desktop - hangs on connecting (through same router)
the versions she has are identical, OS is identical, only one is laptop and the non working one is desktop
with 4.0 VPN client (just donloaded off sonicwall site now) the desktop is now hanging on Acquiring IP.
weird thing is.. i did a new laptop rollout today installing 3.1 and it worked fine!
i'm a bit at a loss as to what to try to get this VPN client working on her desktop.
any ideas, advice is apreciated
thankyou

Is the GC allowed as an exception in her Windows Firewall? Try turning off her windows firewall and test again.
