Question : Tracing Hotmail emails

i know how to run a trace on yahoo, but when i run a trace on a hotmail mail, it always comes from washington (MSN OFFICE) or wichitaw, kansas.  i was told MSN keeps users info private.  is ther any way i can run a trace on hotmail?
