Question : Intel PRO 1000 GT Network Card Won't team yet eact card in another will, on W2k3 Server

I have two servers both running Windows 2003 Server (1 is Standard Edition which wont work, the other is enterprise edition - not sure this is relevant). I have the same cards in each of the machines (2 in each).

I have teaming set on one but when I try to set it up on the second one I get the error "No Intel server adapter or Intel integrated connection is avalable for teaming. Each team must include at least one Intel server adapter or Intel integrated connection."

I cant understand this as they are all the same cards, using the same version of driver 8.8.1.0 (Intel) 13/12/2006.

I think I must be doing something wrong. I've loaded the ANS driver and am trying to set teaming up from the teaming tab on the hardware device manager, then team with other adapters, add team. I cant remember how I set the one which works up but I seem to recall it was quite simple.

Any help would be appreciated,

would uninstal any previous versions and also make sure that you have the latest drivers for your motherboard chipset/ BIOS etc.

Make sure that the devices show up properly in the device manager.

also try with both plugged in and not plugged in.
