Need to check my router activity from work while my computer is on at home .. Is there a simple way to access the router from a remote location ?.. something like . http://68.43.78.123/192.168.1.100 and get the user/pass that way ?...

would help if you let us know what kind of router it is... And the short answer is, probably :-)
Most routers do allow you to enable or disable remote administration through its configuration menu.
