Question : How to Convert POTS line to SIP Phone with AudioCodes MP-114 FXO
Here's my issue:
a) I have a remote shed with no telephone/extension lines. I do have power and network access.
b) I instaled a Polycom 301 phone at the shed.
c) I instaled an AudioCodes MP-114 FXO in the office.
d) A POTS is connected to the MP-114. I'm configuring the "Tel to IP Routing" tables to Destination Address 10.1.10.30 which is the Polycom phone's address
A call comes in and the MP-114 tries to establish the connection but it doesn't go through. I'm seeing "SIP/2.0 405 Method Not Allowed" in the MP-114 log.
1. Any Ideas of why this is happening?
2. Any ideas of how to accomplish this in a different way?
Thanks.
