Question : Share an Internet connection from my laptop to my PVP
I have an Archos 605 Wi-Fi personal video player (PVP), and you can obviously guess from the name that it can connect to a wireless network. The problem is that I am not able to connect it to my WLAN at work. I know one can share an network connection from one PC to another PC, but I'm not sure how to do it. What I would like to be able to do is setup a secure connection from my laptop to my PVP using WEP, and be able to share the Internet connection. My laptop is connected via Ethernet to the network, both the laptop and the PVP have wireless G, and my laptop is running Windows Vista Enterprise. Is this connection possible, and what are the steps to do it? Thanks in advance, Jon

ok, in that case, if the PVP can do it, then it's best to set a static ip address on both sides. You will also need to use 'ad-hoc' wireless connection on BOTH DEVICES (laptop and PVP)
