Question : Linksys wireless connection problem

I have the following configuration:
Desktop #1
•      OS: Windows XP Pro
•      Linksys Wireless Broadband Router (WRT51AB)

Desktop #2
•      OS: Windows XP Home
•      Linksys Wireless Adapter (WUSB11 ver. 2.5)


Desktop #1 is working fine.  Desktop #2 fails to connect.  The SSID does not appear in the list of available SSIDs.

This was working and then it suddenly stopped working.  To my knowledge, nothing was install and the configuration did not change on the machine.

I the taskbar I have the “two side-by-side monitors in blue” and after I install the Linksys driver for then Wireless Adapter a “monitor with a red screen and an X to the right of it” appears in the taskbar.

How can I make this thing work?

GLad you got fixed - after a few weeks of being sporadic - I took mine to peices, put it back together and reset it to factory settings and its run great ever since.
