Question : Looking for email, high traffic user, alert solution

We are looking for a solution that can monitor email traffic flow and alert when user X passes a threshold of X amount of emails/per minute.

We are running Exchange 2003 Sp2, and we have Astaro Security gateway SMTP edge servers. (http://www.astaro.com/our_products/astaro_security_gateway)

Any suggestions for a solution that can do this?
