Question : Merging domains

We have a Windows 2000 AD domain running exchange 2000 in a clustered environment. We recently acquired another company which has a separate Windows 2000 domain/forest. The two domain/forests will be connected over a WAN link. We would like to accomplish the following-

1. Be able to look at each others GAL
2. Be able to look at the outlook calender /Free busy schedules

We dont want to merge the 2 domains and want to leave them as separate forests. Any ideas how to achieve this?

Use ADMT to consolidate the Windows 2000 Domain into an existing Domain of
the Windows 2000 forest.
