Question : How to Use a Verizon Motorola Q with National Geographic TOPO as a GPS standalone product?

I have a Verizon motorola Q and I have the national geographic Topo map products with Pocket Topo. I can load the maps onto my Q. However to show position I need GPS attached to the unit. I know Verizon has GPS services. The question I have is can I someone use my Motorola Q as a GPS while using the TOPO maps software? I do a lot of hunting and it would be nice to be able to use my Q as a GPS instead of having a GPS handheld unit and my Q. Thanks for any help!

Because its verizon Verizon  they have crippled the SPP and DUN Bluetooth profiles. Bluetooth GPSs use the SPP (Serial Port Profile). So you cant use an external GPS unit.

Supps there is a hack to enable it but it cant be found.
