Question : Accessing a shared folder hangs windows explorer

There are shared folders on two machines. Some  on an XP machine and others on a windows 2000 machine.
Accessing the shares on the XP machine from the 2000 works as normal. However, trying to access shares the other way round makes the windows explorer hang when attemping to view the 2000 shared folders.
Previously this problem did not exist.

The setup is a simple peer to peer arrangement. The XP machine can access shares on other 2000 machines fine. So the problem lies on the windows 2000 machine.

Any Ideas ?

Answer : Accessing a shared folder hangs windows explorer

Try disabling and reenabling File and Print sharing on the W2K machine. You can also trying stop and starting you computer browser service on the 2000 machine. Not sure these will help but worth the try.
