Question : How to access the Internet over a LAN

Just an easy one - What do I need to connect all the users on the LAN to the Internet?  We have an NT4 Server that can connect to an ISP using ISDN and we're running TCP/IP on the LAN.

Do I need a Router or will software do?  Any advice would be really appreciated.

I apologise for my ignorance in this area.

Answer : How to access the Internet over a LAN

What you can do is the following :

First install IIS 4.0 and then install MS Proxy. It can be used as a gateway to the internet. It gives you also the option to control which users are allowe to go to the internet and which Site's they may visit or not. It also has caching functions so that bandwith use can be controlled

Good luck
