Question : VPN tunnel cannot see shares across

I have a vpn tunnel using Linksys wrvs4400n routers.  The tunnel is up and running.  I can use vnc from corp. to branch to remotely control pc's.  
Corp has two servers win 2003 server win 2000 server, both are just plain workgroup servers, no active directory, no dns, no wins, just a server.

I logon to the remote pc with vnc and I can ping win 2003 server, I try to use explore to see the shares on the 2003 server like this \\192.168.1.10\util (util is a shared folder on the server).  It tells me that it cannot find the ip number.  

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If DNS and everything is working and you can ping 192.168.1.10 and that is the IP of the sharing server then you might want to check if SMB port 445 is open across the VPN tunnel.
