Question : Cisco Unified Call Manger 7.0 - Activatiing All Services

Hi,
I have successfully installed CUCM 7.0.1 in a VMware sessiosn. Being new to this product, I am seeking basic assistance.

After I select Cisco Unified Serviceability to check the services started, obvioulsy being a fresh install all of them show as Deactivated. When I select the checkbox to start all services, and press Save - all it does is refreshes the screen after few minutes and all services remain Deactivated.

When I select a single service e.g. Cisco AXL Web Service and click Save, after screen refresh it will be activated. When I select another service in that same group, AXL Web Service is now Deactivated and other service is Activated.. This was just an example to explain my challenge for something that should be so simple.

My question is how can I get all the services Activated, or am I missing something here?  I am not sure if there is an inter-dependancy amongst the list of services.

There are dependencies.  What you want to have turned on are the following to get you started:

Callmanager
CTI Manager
Voice Media streaming app
tftp

Now those have dependencies and they will tell you that other services will be turned on as well.

If I am not mistaken you will have to license the box before you can activate the callmanger service.
