Question : SIMPLE vpn setup

Hey guys,
    A friend and I are trying to set up a VPN over the internet in order for us to play age of Empires, and  do all of the other cool network to do's.
   We cant seem to get it set up.  We tried the wizard (we both have Win 2k pro) and it didnt work....I also got tinc and that was useleless cuz I didnt know where to start...

 So my question is this,  can I get step by step instruction on how to set this VPN up?  I need to do some "raiding party" on his civilization man!!!!!

Answer : SIMPLE vpn setup

On the linksys you need to make sure that IPSec passthrought and/or PPTP passthrought is enabled. You should also setup a forward or port trigger for your VPN.

For Port Trigger

Name - Trigger Port - Incoming Port
VPN -      47 ~ 47         1723 ~ 1723
VPN -      50 ~ 50           500 ~ 500

Once I done this I usually just setup a IPSec Security Policy. See below.
