Question : POP3 service attachement restriction in Wndows 2003

Hi

I'm operating the POP3 built-in service in Windows 2003.
This is not the Exchange POP3 service.

I was wondering if anybody know how to adjust the max size of attachment that POP3 will accept.
I have done extensive research on this free POP3 service and only thing I found related to size was disk quota to limit the size of mailbox not the size of attachment.

It seems that the POP3 service is not accepting no more than 1MB attachment.

Thank you.

Answer : POP3 service attachement restriction in Wndows 2003

positron911, can you please clarify what the problem is you are experiencing, the POP3 service does not have a limit set on it, you can set mailbox quotas and the SMTP service used to send/receive e-mail may have a limit on it.

If you check in Internet Information Services Manager and right click on Default SMTP Virtual Server then properties then click on messages all the limits for this service are in there.
