Question : Lotus Domino Router/SMTP MTA?
Hi,
On lotus domino i know how to create an smtp connection/router that will send emails to the specified host or ip address which will scan outgoing emails for viruses. But i wish to do the inverse, my MX records resolves to my cisco 1841 router, onto which i have created a source nat that maps my MX record ip to an internal ip address on my lan which is my domino server. Too many spam, and i wish to configure spamassassin on a linux box to filter for spam. I will have to change my source nat and point it to the linux box. All emails would be delivered to the linux box, now my question is how will the domino server know from where to fetch the emails? is there any settings that i need to modify to instruct domino to fetch the emails from the linux box? or should i only instruct postfix to relay incoming messages to the domino server? i am a bit confused...
Answer : Lotus Domino Router/SMTP MTA?
Fetch?? SpamAssassin should forward good mails to the Domino server via SMTP.
