It really comes down to your definition of Best. On wikitionary (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/best) it has many meanings. :)

CISCO is very good (expensive too).

3COM isn’t all that bad either.

If you want cheap there always (Dlink & Linksys)

What features are required? VOIP? IPSEC?

How many connections? Load? 24/7?

Or is this just a general brand question?
