Question : Windows 2000 server 0x00007b inaccessible_boot_device

HELP !!!

Just did the last microsoft internet explorer cumulative update from 1st of december 2004 on a windows 2000 server machine,
after reboot I see this error message:

stop: 0x0000007b (0x88651b08 0xc0000010 ) inaccessible_boot_device

Hardware: MSI 875P neo motherboard with latest bios (okt 2004)
promise sata378 tx2plus controller bios version 1.00.1030.26
2 x 120 gig SATA 150 drives with mirror..

How is this possible ?

Tried: windows 2000 server cdrom, inspect en repair,
in recovery console; fix mbr, fix boot

in win2000 server pressed f8; boot last known good menu, safe mode, safe mode with network support

NO SOLUTION !!!

Please advise, maybe you have a solution in a software package (no erd commander) to get this server running again !!

Maybe you know a solution to uninstall the cumulative internet explorer update from the repair console ?

Thanks

Try to act as described in http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;822051#6i
- it seems to be most close to your situation... Did you really have some antivir soft installed before updating?
