Question : SSH on 6500

I am setting up SSH on my 6500 series unit.  I have followed all the normal setups as of past on other cisco devices, but I cannot get this one to work.  I keep getting a connection refused everytime I try to connect.  Everything seems to be configured correctly.  Has anyone else ever had this issue?

I seem to recall that IOS only supports SSH v1. If that's the case, make sure your SSH client is not configured for SSH v2 exclusively.
