My backups are continually failing with the error above.

Veritas error Media Mount Failed - User canceled a physical Volume Library Operation

It specifies \\servername\F:Data

any help would be appreciated,

Answer : Veritas error Media Mount Failed - User canceled a physical Volume Library Operation

In the Job Setup screen, under Settings>General there is a check box to enable the type of compression.  Select Hardware, (if available, otherwise none). I have had a similar problem in the past where the test run fails but the job completes successfully when run live.  Something regarding the job needs data inorder to be successful.

If the link doesn't apply, then I would let the job run duing the normal backup and t may end up being successful.  I have also run into situations where the entire backup job is corrupt and no matter what you do it fails.  The job will need to be recreated
