Wireless Networking Question...Multiple routers using the same SSID
I'm trying to set up a wireless network inside a medium size commercial building using 3 wireless cable modem/routers (before you ask why I'm using 3 modems, the building is that of a cable/broadband provider, so there are cable lines available throughout).
I have good coverage throughout the building between the 3 wireless devices and everything works fine, but I'm currently using 3 different SSIDs and would like to be able to use a single SSID instead.
My question is, how do I configure the wireless settings on the three devices so that when someone moves from one end of the building to the other, they still remian connected to the same SSID they were connected to, even though they are connected to a different device than they were connected to....I'm thinking the devices may need to have different IP addresses (default gateway on the client side) or perhaps be on different channels
I also would like to avoid a situation where a user is in between two of the coverage areas and their wireless card is constantly disconnecting from one device and then connecting to the other with the same SSID
Thanks,
John

The only way this will **possibly** work is to have all three routers setup exactly the same except each needs to be on a different channel, and each needs to have a different block of DHCP addresses.
So for instance
router 1 LAN IP 192.168.1.1 SSID WAP Channel 1 DHCP 192.168.1.2 to 192.168.1.82
router 2 LAN IP 192.168.1.1 SSID WAP Channel 6 DHCP 192.168.1.83 to 192.168.1.163
router 3 LAN IP 192.168.1.1 SSID WAP Channel 11 DHCP 192.168.1.164 to 192.168.1.244
