Question : No network provider accepted the given network path

Hi,

I have two sites (A : 172.16.30.0 & B : 172.16.38.0) joined by VPN.  Both sites are in the same AD just different sites.

Site A : ALPHA, BRAVO, ECHO
Site B : CHARLIE, DELTA, FOXTROT

ALPHA, BRAVO, CHARLIE are all three Global Catalog and DC.

Site A can ping Delta and Foxtrot but not Charlie (request timeout)
Site B can ping all three servers from site A

When I ping Charlie from Site A I get a timeout, though nslookup finds it.
There is a static mapping in the WINS.  Charlie appears as NS server on the SiteA DNS but with an asterisc.

Since SiteA can't communicate with Charlie, no replication of the catalog is possible, therefore all the possible errors resulting (can't use DFS, can't synchro exchange, can't replicate AD, etc etc).

Can't figure out why I can ping Delta and Foxtrot but not Charlie ? Doesn't make sense !
