Question : Connect to two networks simultaneously
At work we have two seperate networks. One of these networks is used to connect to the internet and the other is used internally for file storage and cvs repositories. I connect to the internet one using my wireless and the internal network through a wired ethernet connection. However, at any given time I can only be connected to one of the networks. Is there a way to connect to both networks simultaneously? A solution for Linux is my primary concern and Windows XP would be nice but is secondary. I am using OpenSuSE 10.2 and Windows XP SP2.

Maybe this is a physical limitation of the computer, a laptop ? When you plug in the cable does the wireless show as disabled in network connections ?
If not, out of curiosity, remove the default gateway from the wireless (I.e. no default gateways) and see if you can connect to both networks. All you can likely test on the wireless is the router, but test any way. It shouldn't matter, but the reason I suggest this is a 12.12.12.0 address would normally be routed through your default gateway to the Internet as it is not a true private IP.
