Question : Slow user logon

Hello, I have a very strage problem. I am running a network with one DC using 2k server. We have about 50 users running wdw xp pro and maybe two wdw98.
This is my problem. I have a client using and xp pro pc that is taking her almost 5 to 8 minutes to logon. anybody elses id works fine on that pc but not hers. I have tried creating another user name for her but did not work. The DC is the DNS server, the TCP/IP is pointing to the DNS Server.

What else can I do????

another big one is a known bug with XP:

For some reason it's  not downloadable though, you have to contact them. (piracy issues, who knows?)  The link to obtain contact information is on the above page.


Another culprit is DNS settings, ensure that your primary DNS server is the local domain one, using your ISP's will result in slower logins.
