Question : Domino (R8) server not leaving summary after mail database archiving

I have a strange problem with Domino server-based archiving. Installed version of Lotus Domino is R8.01.

The fact is that every Sunday it archives all users mail databases using archiving+compacting. In all user mail databases the archiving criteria is identical:
- all mail not modified in more than 365 days is moved to the archive db
- remove attachments and leave summary
- archiving log is stored in username_archlog database

The operation works perfectly on all databases except one. Although it archives with the same pattern, this is the only database in which Domino doesn't create the summary inside the folders in the original mail database.

Any help?

So all the rest in that mail database functions correctly?

I suspect a corrupt mail database, and a corruption that the Compact cannot repair.

One way to solve it maybe:
- make a new replica of the mail database to usermailrep.nsf
- rename the old usermail.nsf to usermail.old
- rename the new replica from usermailrep.nsf to usermail.nsf
- on the new one, replace the design with the same template it already uses
