Question : Port forwarding with a DSL modem and a Linksys router that serves VPN

What ports do I need forwarded for the VPN gateway to accept incoming request if my DSL is running NAT and my LINKSYS gateway is the VPN server.  It looks like this:

Internet Public NAT DSL modem: 71.128.93.77 --> NAT DSL modem Private: 192.168.2.1 --> LINKSYS VPN Gateway Public 192.168.2.2 --> LINKSYS Private 192.168.0.254

Thanks for all the help!

Answer : Port forwarding with a DSL modem and a Linksys router that serves VPN

If your DSL device is just a modem I would not expect it to have a firewall and therfore no ports would need to be setup on it.

If you setup your linksys to except VPN connections it should open the ports itself, are you using pptp (port 1723) or IPSEC (port 500) The model No. of the linksys would help...
