Question : How to keep a file association
We are assocating a file extension type to a program and every time the users logs off, the file association disappears and needs to be reset.
We have not seen this happen before and it is only happening for one file extension type.

Answer : How to keep a file association
Make sure that they have write access to the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT folder in the registry, and make sure it is creating a key for that extention.
