Question : Shared files on mapped drive keep disappearing.

I have a customer that keeps calling about a shared drive she is mapped to. All files, but not folders, keep disapearing. The customer will then disconnect from the shared drive and remap to it again - same location, same drive letter. All files that disappeared before are now being displayed again. An error within the event viewer reads to restart the system to clean up the cache.  This has been done many times, which does not solve the issue.

A new email profile has been created with the same results also... any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Answer : Shared files on mapped drive keep disappearing.

Try following

1) Enable (enabled by default) offline file support on the client under Folder options -> Offline files and is available only on Windows XP and above

2)Install the latest service pack at client
