Question : Can not ping ip address
Hello-
I have 1 xp pro laptop on my network that I cannot ping from any computer not even the domain controller can ping this 1 laptop. However, the laptop can access the internet and network shares, printers, can ping other computers, etc....
No firewall is turned on. When you log into our domain it automatically turns the MS Windows Firewall off. We do have symantec pc anywhere, symantec antivirus 10, and cisco vpn client installed on all laptops.
I'm not sure what it can be. Any help will be greatly appreciated. If I uninstall tcpip connection then reinstall it will that fix anything?
Thanks
Answer : Can not ping ip address
I figured out what the problem was: Within services.msc, I stopped Cisco Systems, Inc. VPN service and then tried to ping her laptop and got replies back.
