Question : Fiber for Dummies <--

Hello everyone,
We are new to the fiber cable world and hopefully you guys/gals can point us in the right direction on how to run fiber. This year we recieved calls from clients that needed fiber runs but ofcourse we had to turn them down cause we had no idea how to run fiber. Here are a few questions and thanks for any feedback you leave us.

1st. Do you have to be certified to run fiber?
2nd. What tools do you need for fiber run?
3rd. Any books or website that assist on how fiber is run.
4th. Are fiber runs standard or they different types of fiber?
