Question : Cisco Aironet 1200 Wireless security Question

Hello,

I have a requirment to setup a Cisco Aironet 1200 AP for the best possible security between client and AP using only the AP for encryption and security settings.  The customer does not want to use Radius or any other external authentication so I have to make the AP as secure as possible.

Here is what I have for my settting now;
Encryption set to AES CCMP (in the Encryption settings)
SSID security set to Open Authentication with WPA checked and a long, mandatory pre-shared key.

I would like to have MAC authentication also, but each time I set it as an option it wont work with these settings.

Does anyone know if this is a good security setting??

Yes your current settings are more secure than WEP with MAC Authentication. I had not noticed you weren't using WEP and you are correct MAC Authentication is used in conjunction with WEP not AES.
