Answer : How to share Files on Windows network using DI-624?

Try enabling NetBIOS over TCP/IP
To do so:

Start>Control panel>Network connections

Right-click on the connection u are using. Click properties.

In the general tab, click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and then properties.

In the general tab of this window, click advanced...

In the WINS tab, click enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP and then OK.

If this doesn't work, what happens when you try to click on shared files? Any error messages? What does it say? Do the files even appear?
I need more info.
Do you share an Internet connection tru a router or ICS (Internet Connection Sharing)? If so does this work?

Do 2 pings, one from each machine towards the other (start>run>cmd(enter)>ping XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX (replace the Xs by the IP address of the target, if you do not know this information, scroll down) (enter)). Post results here

---------------------HOW TO GET THE IP ADDRESS OF A COMPUTER--------------------
go on the disered computer and go into a command prompt (start>run>cmd (enter)).
Type ipconfig and hit enter.

You'll get something like this:

Ethernet adapter Local Area Connections
         Connetion-spefic DNS suffix . :
         IP Address . . . . . . . . . . . . . : XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX

(the rest is not important for this exercise)
The Xs is your IPaddress
