Question : HTTP timeout 425 errors connecting through Winproxy 3.0
Hello, I have a WinProxy 3.0 (unlimited user licence) proxy server on a Windows 98 computer. The computer is 500MHz w/ 256MB RAM, it has two network cards, one on the local LAN and one on the same subnet as the internet router. With only a couple of users everything is good, but when traffic gets a little heavy clients start getting 425 error cannot connect with remote host. The MaxConnections setting in the registry is set for 2000 (by winproxy install). Are there any other settings I should be looking at? Most clients are Win 98 however it happens on Linux and Win NT clients also. I really need to get this figured out. Thanks a bunch! -Johntegg

Have you set the correct serial number for the unlimited users? If not, 3 simultaneous users is the limit.
Otherwise, I would contact their support. You paid enough for the product that you should take advantage of it..
