Question : WRT160N VPN Error 806

Hi,

  I recently purchased an 'N; wireless router WRT160N from Lynsys. Trouble is I can no longer connect to my vpn. The error is 806. I can connect using my old D-Lin wireless router which is still connected tot he network. It says the error is the router does not allow GRE packets though. Under Security I have VPN passthrough allowed. Any ideas?

Answer : WRT160N VPN Error 806

What you could try is exporting your routers settings. Then reset the router back to factory defaults and then import your settings back in to the router and see if that works. If it was working at some point and it isn't now then i might be a setting on your router.
