Question : why can i not map network drive?

I am trying to map a network drive.
I log on as a user on a client pc and can map to a folder on the network. I then lo log on as another user and try and map to the same folder

every time i try and map to the folder windows attempts to contect to the drive and then throws up the error message that

"the mapped network drive could not be created becuase the following error occurred
An extended error has occurred"

both are standard users

Please do the following
Start ---> Run ---> GPEDIT then enter
Goto User Configuration ( Double click )
then goto Administrative Templates ( Double click )
Goto Network ( Double click )
Network connections
on the right of the box you'll see the last line.
* Enable windows 2000 network connections settings for Administrators
right click --> properties
Enable ----> Apply
And then restart and try if it works.
